Another Boating Weather App

Many marine weather apps are now available for Apple and Android smartphones and tablets, though I have yet to find the absolute perfect one that does everything I want it to do in the most efficient and effective way. Still, Marine Weather from Bluefin Engineering is pretty good - read the review here. And if that doesn't do the job for you, check out this wide range of other boating apps including weather, wind, and charting apps. A good Android app I've just started using on my tablet is Tides & Currents, which does not require online connectivity to provide you with tide and water current information wherever you are.
