New Apps Make It Easy to Have AIS on Your Own Boat

Here's a terrific example of advancing technology of value to sailors and boaters: inexpensive apps that will run on your smartphone or device when you're on your boat and show you the location, course, and speed of nearby ships (as long as you have connectivity).
