Spring! And Thoughts Turn to Boats

Though it's still more than a week before official spring, temperatures are hitting 50 in parts of New England and sailors I know are starting to make plans to get their boats ready for the season. Although it always seems there's a long list of boat maintenance and things to get ready before splashing in, I've found it much easier and less worrisome when you use a detailed spring commissioning list to get organized and just check things off as you get them done. Along with the work, however, comes the fun of thinking ahead to summer sails and hopefully some cruising to new places.
