Re: Two Tickets, please

Dear Editors,

As your dedicated Sailing Guide, and in the interests of promoting thorough and comprehensive journalism in covering all aspects of the sport of sailing, please rush two tickets to London to the undersigned on an expedited basis. (Business class will be acceptable, I suppose).

You may recall that The Collins Stewart London Boat Show will be held January 11 through the 20th. Sailboats being debuted at the show include Chantiers Jeanneau's Odyssey 49i, as well as the new "deck salon" Sun Odyssey 45DS.

New equipment will be debuted, too, such as Digital Yacht's new hand-held PC. The Airo, combines GPS, digital charting and a distress button which transmits GPS location to a 24-hour call center. The unit also sends messages in voice, text or email format.

As you can see, it is imperative that these cutting-edge sailing products be examined up-close and in-person by your deep-digging sailing Guide. And, oh yeah, there's the Guinness Bar. Not that I'll spend much time there. Really.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. (A quick aside -- I still have not heard back from you regarding my recent request for the purchase of that Hinckley 51 to be used as an office for producing sailing content. Really).
